Gun Marked Royal - Who makes it?
Does anyone have any info on this gun? it is marked Royal....

My reference notes that the Trade Name, Royal was used by 2 manufacturers of Suicide Special revolvers. The ones made by Otis Smith would be most commonly encountered. There were also some made by Lee Arms Co. of Wilkes Barre PA.
Suicide Specials were small, inexpensive, spur trigger, personal protection revolvers. Made by many U.S. manufacturers, generally they date to the 1870's & 80's.
Because of what appears to be ivory grips and basic engraving, your seems to be slightly better quality.0
