    We have a M1 Carbine with the following markings:
    Inland Mfg. Division on receiver. Bayonette lug has the letters EM-Q.
    Serial # 5258*** . Front barrel band MMO. Stock and barrel in great shape. Anybody with any ideas of whatr we have and the market value ?

    No where near the asking price I would say. Many unanswered questions, Import marked? All parts orginal? What are the markings? etc. Off hand I would estimate it is in the $5-700.00 range.

    I don't know the value to others, but....here are my thoughts: The carbine appears to have the original stock, but it's been through a rebuild (rebuild stamp, replacement barrel band & rear sight, refinished parts, probably more). The seller doesn't mention import markings, so I have to assume it's a Blue Sky import. He doesn't describe the bore condition or muzzle wear measurement, so I have to assume it's pitted &/or shot out. And, it's offered AS IS, so the buyer will be stuck if my worst fears are concerned. It's worth no more than $350 to me based on the above.

    Decide what it's worth to you based on what you see.

    Over priced per the seller's info. He needs to offer more when he is asking $1500. As I'm sure you noticed, there have been zero bids on this carbine.

    It would be nice if you could go back and see just how long it has been listed. From the looks of it, I wouldn't offer over $600 for it.
