I have recently purchased a Savage 69RXL and have a few questions I hope you folks can help me with.
1. Is there any way to tell from the serial number when the weapon was actually made?
2.Where can I go to find detailed manuals for an older weapon like this one?
3.If I need parts for spare or replace, what would be a reputable source?

According to the Blue Book, it the law enforcement version of the Stevens Model 67, last manufactured in the late 80's. Gun Parts Corporation in their on-line catalog has a extensive selection of parts for the various versions of the Model 67, including some specifically for the 69RXL. 0
