Mod.88 info needed

Can someone tell me how to reverse the safety on a Win.Mod.88 from right to lefthand?

  I have honestly never heard of it. I would check with your local gunsmith.
  
  Also, we have a member here who specializes in the extreme of firearms. He is nononsense. Hopefully he'll be along with a reply.

  'WILLIAMS' USED TO MAKE A REVERSED (L.H.) SAFTY FOR THESE (SAME AS M-100) CHECK THE AUCTION AND YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FIND ONE.

  Hold onto the safety with a padded pair of pliers and turn it approx 1/4 turn. It will then push out of the housing. watch for the spring loaded plunger. Reverse it and compress the plunger on the spring and push it in.

  Correctly done, it should take about one minute to completely change from right to left or vise versa.No need to buy new safety.[^]
