What's the trick to getting the bolt out of one of these actions?

I looked at one today in what appeared to be a youth or compact .243, opened the bolt, pulled the trigger, and attempted to slide it out the rear, but it didn't budge.

  I cant find any place that sells a wood stock my .204 ruger.
  
  I hate the cheap synthetic stock on it.
  
  If anyone could post a link I would greatly appreciate it.
  
  
  (something relatively affordable would be great!)

  Take a look over on the auction side. There a couple very nice ones there. One is a laminate with bedding block. The other is a beautiful walnut with mahogany accents.
