Anybody have any comments on the wilson scattergun standard. Can you rate 1-10

  And I rate it that way because the base gun is an 870, the felt recoil is more then it should be for the weight of the gun.
  
  getting it comped/ported might help.
  
  Nighthawk also makes custom 870s, with ported barrel.

  I have one in the Border Patrol model. In addition to the standard features mine has been ported, and modified to take screw-in choke tubes. I use it for home defense and sometimes take it turkey and deer hunting. I rate it a 9 out of 10. The cost of the gun plus the modifications takes off a point. Luckily, I bought mine used at a good price. I probably wouldn't buy one at retail, but I wouldn't ever sell mine either. It's a great shotgun.
