.22 fixed sight windage adjustment ?

I have recently aquired 2 old .22 rifles. A Savage 15A and a Marlin model 80. Both need windage adjustment, but so far as I can see, the rear sights are not adjustable for windage, just elevation. I would love to shoot these with the existing sights but would like to shoot accurately.

Am I missing something that can be done to adjust these sights? Your guidance will be appreciated.

  Just tap lightly with a brass hammer. Rear sight tap in direction you want point of impact to go.

  Or the front sight in the other direction.
