Ruger SS flat gate value

I recently acquired an unaltered Single Six flat gate serial number 48999 in excellent condition. Can anyone tell me an approximate value for it? Thanks.

  yep if he wants accurate info I know the ruger site has better experts after all they specialize in rugers. The most knowledgable Ruger people in the country frequent that forum
