HK USC magazine

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to convert my HK USC to make it accept the HK UMP double-stack magazine? I don't want a full conversion, I just want the extra rounds. I see all sorts of full conversion options, but I just want the minimum for this one change.

Also, where's the cheapest place to order HK mags?[?]

    I am not sure who is doing conversions right now.

    You will need a lower at the very least. I am not sure there was a lower made to work with the stock stock and use HK mags. I believe all had to add the folding stock too. HK mags and cheep do not go together.

    If you are just looking to increase mags size you can look at the Grease Gun mag conversion. I know for a fact on these ones you could replace just the lower, or with a different lower do lower and stock. Nice thing is GG mags are reasonably cheep and hold 30rds not 25 (I believe) like the HK mags.

    Thanks. I read some about the grease gun conversion, too. The mag on the conversion doesn't look too much shorter than the available 20-rd. single stack, so I'll probably just go with a 20-rounder and another 10 or two. I guess if I'm ever in a situation where 20 rounds of .45 acp isn't sufficient, then I'm probably screwed anyway.

    And no, you don't see HK, mags and cheap in the same sentence often.
