Concealing a bigger pistol - Baretta 92
Hi out there, Im about to purchase a new pistol but I probably wont be getting my CHL anytime soon because money is tight right now. I am in love with the Beretta 92, or the Taurus PT92, either one... I was wondering, I saw some concealed carry holsters for this gun, but does anyone out there know if you can carry one of these bigger guns with any comfort? Just curious for when I get my CHL in the future.

In the cooler weather when wearing a jacket they are very easy to carry and conceal in a strong side holster. In the warmer weather with less clothes it becomes a much harder both to conceal and be comfortable. 0 -

IT DEPENDS ON HOW LOOSE YOU WEAR YOUR CLOTHS,IF YOU WEAR LOOSE CLOTHS ITS EASY TO CONCEAL 0 -
Yep I can conceal my Taurus PT92 in an IWB holster with some loose fitting cargo pants.
Since my gun and the Beretta are the same in shape for the most part, I am sure you could if you want.0 -

The variables are:
your style of dress
weather & bulk of clothes
your body/frame size & weight
activity while carrying
duration of wearing the gun
& probably many more
Anything is possible if you are determined enough. Comfort is a personal call.
I have a 'fanny pack holster' that carries my full size 1911 with ease & comfort because I can take it off or put it on without revealing the contents.
If you are planning on conceal carry for extended periods or during vigerous activity, you might want to look for something lighter.

I packed around a full size 1911 in 9mm all day today in a Galco IWB and it wasn't bad--but not as easy as packing my Taurus 850. If you are not as horizontally challenged as I am, then you probably won't have a problem.[:D] 0
