i have a 581 single shot rem .22 smooth bore, i have never fired since i got it and need info on it. eastbank.

  Try www.rimfirecentral.com they have a specific forum for Remington rimfire rifles. If anybody would be able to give you information on your model 581 smooth bore, it would be them.
