Brand new Sig 232

I bought this on GB.

I thought I would be getting a spare mag.It only came with one mag already in the pistol. The guy told me they only come with one. I also did not receive the exact gun shown or case, but that doesn't bother me too much.

The manual states it comes with a spare mag. My question is do all brand new Sigs come with a spare mag? My P228 did.

    All SIG pistols I ever saw that were destined for the civilian retail market came with two magazines, a manual, a gun lock, and a nice plastic lockable box.

    SIG pistols aimed at the police market come with three magazines.

    I think they changed it up since, but at one time, it was easy to spot what was what by the color of the box. Blue was civilian, black was police, and red was factory certified pre-owned.

    That gun is advertised as new, but has freckling of the blue on the slide. It is also pictured with two magazines. Looks like you got hosed.

    Well, just got my answer from Sig. As of March 20 all new Sigs only come with one mag due to a national shortage.

    I didn't hosed either. I recieved a brand new gun, unfired in perfect condition.

    Also, they are sending me an extra mag for $15.00 total.

    Interesting info at any rate.

    Sounds like a happy ending.

    We just got a raft of new SIGs at the PD and all came with three magazines. Maybe that's why there is a shortage.[;)]

    The pictures describing this gun show a mag inserted in the gun and one still in the plastic wrap. Someone removed part of what you bid on. I would not be very happy about the deal.

    I bought a new P232 about 3 weeks ago. (one mag). You'll be very happy with it.

    That's what I thought, and that's why I thought the feller got hosed. I reckon hosing is in the eye of the behosed.

    I agree with you guys so I called them and there crediting me the $15.00 for the extra mag they sent. I appreciate your input on this -I shall not be hosed!

    I'm very happy with the pistol; it's got to be one the best 380 out there. It feels perfect in your hands and carrying.
