Building a SA Sten? Reg as a SBR?

Has anyone built a semi auto Sten? If so did you have to do a form one to reg. as a SBR?

  If YOU build it (an SBR) you will need to fill out a Form 1 and have it come back approved prior to building.
  
  If you buy it then you would have to fill out a Form 4.
  
  This is assuming that you are building it to the original size. If you have a 16" barrel then there is no need to fill out any forms.
