Can you Help Identify a Jap Arisaka Rifle Stock?

I have a Jap Arisaka rifle stock. Every thing that I can find says it is a model 38 stock. I know that there is a model 30 stock that is very similar. Does the barreled action that fits into a model 38 stock also fit into a model 30 stock( i.e. are these two interchangeable)? I am also aware that the Italians made a stock called a "Type I" stock which I believe was inletted to accept a model 91 Carcano action. I would imagine that this stock would not be interchangeable with the model 38 barreled action. Am I correct in that assumption? I am relatively sure it is not a model 99 because the butt plate on this rifle seems to be drastically different from the model 38. Mine has the flatter type metal butt plate with a small tang on the top of the butt sock which a screw goes into. What else might my stock be? Click on hyper text above to view stock. Thanks!

It would be best for positive identification if you could post quality photos of the stock.
Various Chinese arsenals also made knock-offs of Arisaka's, and hybrid Arisaka/Mauser type rifles. It's always possible, that this is what this stock was originally made for?0 -

The address to photobucket keeps coming back as a DNS lookup error. What else can we try?0 -
It looks like a Type 38 to me. Maybe an intermediate cavalry carbine, but I can't tell since I can't see it all. 0
