Russian SKS

R.A.M. Outdoor
I just got an SKS (to sell from an estate) and don't know much about
them.
It is totally all matching numbers 7807, side reciever marks CCCP 05768, immaculate condition. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

    I recently picked up a Russian SKS from the 50's. Looks unfired and I was thinking of keeping it this way but saw a reply on the topic of a Yugo SKS

    Should I keep this like new or shoot it? I have a Norinco preban that I do shoot. The Russian is preban as well.

    check out the "sticky" at the top of the Ask the Experts topic list. It is written by one of our moderators (nononsense) and gives great explanations.

    as a hosting site, a lot of us use photobucket.com

    1.You upload the photos to a hosting site
    2. you then come to the forum like you see here, and type in whatever you want, then go to the top of your post box. The 11th icon from the left is "insert image"
    3. you click on "insert immage" and brackets will appear.
    4. You have previously right clicked and copied the "img" code for your pictures on the hosting site and you now left click between those image brackets to put your cursor there and then right click and insert your IMG code that you saved/copied.

    you then "post new reply"

    What year, if any, is marked on top of the action cover near possibly a star with an arrow in it? Are there any small square box markings anywhere with a diagonal slash through them? Does the serial number on the buttstock match the serial number on the side of the receiver?

    That C.D.I. SWAN on the reciever is the distributor.
    Do you have the box and everything?
    Worth about $325-350

    No year and/or star like others i've seen. All numbers match, trigger guard, butt stock, reciever etc... and sorry no box, what I took picture of is it.
