7.62 x 51mm DAG Plastic Training Ammo
Anyone ever shoot some of this DAG training ammo with a 10 grain plastic bullet that's on the market right now? Just wondering how well it shoots and if there are any issues/downsides of it besides the fact it won't cycle a semi auto or can't be reloaded. Thought it may be decent practice ammo at 25-50 yards with my m1a. Thanks.

It is what the FBi used to train their sharpshooters with. For short range plinking it might not be too bad. However, you most likely notice your zero will be off on your scope if you are using one. The switch from ultra light weight plastic bullets to lead ones will shift the point of impact around.
I think it would be fun for something like a 308 Enfield or Spanish mauser in 7.62 NATO0 -
It won't cycle your rifle... it needs to be used with a special lightened blowback only bolt/carrier in the HK style rifles... I tried it in a Port G3 and at 100 yards it was still on target for me and functioned flawlessly. 0 -
