FIE Little Ranger
It's a neat looking little birdshead pistol and I think I want one. Was it ever offered with the 22LR/22Mag cylinders?

FIE has as far as I know been out of business for many years. I'm not sure if they offered the Birdshead gripped model in .22 Mag.
But the current Heritage SA revolvers are the current equivilent of the FIE's.0 -

FIE imported Tanfoglio(TZ). You might try EAA and see what they have. 0 -
I just found a fie little ranger today and picked it up cheap. It does not have the 22mag cylinder, but shows in the manual to be an option and the box has check boxes to indicate TEX-22 or TEX-22 Combo. 0 -
IF its what I am thinking about, I was at a shop and so it, but someone had it in his hand and bought it. I like the box, it had a picture of a kid? with a star on and carrying the gun in a western scene? thats why I would have bought it because of the box scene...strange I know..nambu 0 -

I bought one for my youngest son and it is a pretty good little shooter, but it is damn loud. What did you give for yours if you don't mind my asking?

Maybe so. But FIE also imported the German Herbert Schmidt .22 SA's. Which were called "Buffalo Scouts".
They look very similar to the Tanfoglio guns. But Tanfoglio had a Tiger on the grips. And the Herbert Schmidts had a buffalo.0
