Michigan State Police Winchester 94 Commemorative
I have the chance to buy one of these, but can't find any information on them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I tried a couple of collector sites on the web, but can't find one listed anywhere.

If you have a copy of the blue book check that. If the commerative was not factory built, you will not find it. If it is not a factory commerative it's investment potential will be limited. Even the factory commeratives tend to be uneven in what evaluates which is dependant upon what collectors want. My guess would be A MSP commerative will not attract near the interest of say, the John Wayne, or the Crazy Horse, or the Annie Oakley.
It is not listed as a factory commerative. It could have been done by Winchester for a local distributor, or produced for or by another orgainzation. My wag is that it will be valued at just about the same as the underlying 94. I suggest not buying it as an investment rifle, unless of course you are a MSP officer. It will have a very limited market.0
