Model AP9 -- Are Parts available?

Is AA Arms Inc. still in business? Where can parts be found for a Model AP9? I called the phone number I found on the Web .... Out of service. [?] ..... Thanks

    AA Arms folded years ago.

    The AP-9 guns themselves aren't that great. Apparently, they have reliability issues, and several parts (including firing pins and the RECEIVERS) are prone to cracking.

    Classic arms has apparently bought out the supply of old receivers, so if you do have a bad frame, you can at least have THAT replaced, relatively inexpensively.

    Sometimes parts turn up on the auction site here.

    Personally, I wouldn't sink too much money trying to fix up one of these.

    IMO, for roughly the same price, you're better off with a Glock 17 and a 33-round mag.

    I found the part from the link Hoosier posted. I agree with you about the pistol. The internal parts are cheaply made . I do not own the pistol just looking for a part for a friend. The pistol looks new and the firing pin guide/disconnector appears to have been altered. Thank you for replying....
