I am wondering if it is possible to find a replacement barrel for my 16 ga. single shot model 12 wards hercules shotgun thanks

  No on my gun the action is a lever style just below the hammer. Just push it to one side.

  The Hercules was the house brand for Montgomery Wards, most of them were made by Iver Johnson. I'd compare it to a I.J. Champion and see if it will interchange.
