Winchester 94 date of Man.

Hi all,

I am trying to find out the date of Manufacturer for my wife's grandfathers Winchester model 94. The serial number is 1111191.

  Neither of the previous replies is accurate.
  
  Winchester Model 94 serial number 1111191 was manufactured in the latter part of the year 1936. If you pull the forend stock off and look on the bottom of the barrel near the receiver frame, you will find a "36" stamped on it.
  
  Your Carbine should also have the type-6 upper tang stamp. Out of curiousity, what caliber is it?
