AUTHENTIC COLT COLTWOOD STOCKS FOR D-frame?

I have a 53 COBRA SQUARE BUTT and am trying to round up some original style Coltwood stocks.
I found a pair but unsure if they are actually "authentic" Colt. Judging from the comparisons I have been able to make of others seen listed as "original" and some Franzite offerings,
the cast inside reinforcements of these stocks seem to vary with different offerings.

sincere thanks for any help in telling me how to identify "authentic", and perhaps a style specific to the 53 Cobra.

    Authentic Colt stocks will have the Rampant Colt logo cast into the top of the stocks in the same position as medallions are found on stocks with medallions. Franzite stocks have a Franzite logo. The Colt rib design may vary as production continued.

    If a set of stocks has the Colt logo, the set is genuine Colt, no matter what the rib design. A 1953 Cobra square butt will use Coltwood stocks as mentioned. By 1953, the Coltwood stocks had become mostly brown, with little or no swirls of yellow and orange as found on earlier Coltwood stocks.

    Thank you JudgeColt for your help with my continuing education and helping me to understand the D-frame evolution.
    This is a great forum and I certainly appreciate all the help I have recieved, plus the archived wisdom here also.
    I hope that someday I can do the same for others...
