Uberti 1875 Outlaw
I recently bought a nice used one, a 1875 Outlaw in 45 Colt caliber for $259. I haven't shot it yet. What has been your experience with these concerning quality and accuracy? The only factory markings other than the caliber and proofs is the Uberti logo on the bottom of the butt near the serial number.. The front sight screws on and is a short narrow blade much like blackpowder front sights. The frame and grip straps are case colored and the trigger guard is brass. Thanks for any replies.

I have had one in 45 for several years. I have found it to be a very good and accurate gun. I really like the grig shape and size. The grips on the ol black powder revolvers just seem to fit my hand like they were made for it. The 75's grip is designed a lot the same. I live in northern Idaho and have carried mine many many miles while packing a string of mules in the mountains. I am usually not what you would call a real good pistol shot but I do shoot my 75 pretty well. I think mostly because it fits my hand so well. I have killed several cayotes with it, one peskie black bear that was rading our camp and a deer or two. It has always worked well and like I said mine has seen some miles. Good luck 0
