H&R ages model 1905?

Hi all, I have a few H&R's that I would appreciate any info on.

1. H&R .32; top strap reads H&R Double Action/ Model 1905 .32 cal
ser# 441xx
2. H&R 999 sportsman; ser# K500
3. H&R 949; ser# AJ472xx
4. H&R 922; ser# 1786xx
5. Iver Johnson .32; top break, ser# A823xx

I would most like to know the age/ manufacture date of these revolvers. Thank You in advance if any one is familiar.

    H&R Model 1905 manufactured 1906 until 1942, the low 5 digit serial number would most likely put it in the 1910 to 1915 era

    iver johnson 32 top break, A letter code used on 1st, 2nd & 3rd models small frame safety automatic hammer revolver. need to know the patent date marking found on top of barrel, left side of barrel or bottom of butt strap also what kind of hammer spring flat leaf or coil?

    The Iver Johnson has 4 pat dates. the top of the barrel reads "Iver Johnsons Arms & Cycle works Fitchburg Mass USA, Patd Apr.6.86. Feb.15.87. May.10.87. Aug.25.96. Pats Pending"- it has a flat spring
    The 922 only has markings on the left side of the barrel (company name/city/model#) and none of the H&Rs have pat dates.
    Do any H&R guns have pat dates?
    The model 1905 I bought recently for $55. it has 90% of the nickle remaining, however the bore looks rough inside. is there an approximate value range for that?
    P.S. there appears to be an aftermarket "x" at the end of the ser # for the model 999. is this an update that was done? the mark is off center. Thank You for all your answers.

    Yes some H&R firearms have patent date markings but not all.

After 1930 listed in catalogs as: H&R MODEL 5 DOUBLE ACTION No. 90 .32 S&W CALIBER 5 shot

    the iver johnson top break is a early second model safety automatic hammer revolver manufactured in 1897. of all the revolvers you have listed this is the only one you should never fire.

Hammer the Hammer action, two frame sizes, and three calibers. Standard barrel length: small frame 3 inches, large frame 3 ? inches; Calibers: small frame .22 rimfire 7 rounds cylinder capacity, .32 centerfire 5 rounds cylinder capacity, large frame .38 centerfire 5 rounds cylinder capacity; Weight: small frame with 3 inch barrel .22 rimfire 12 ounces, .32 centerfire 12 ? ounces, large frame with 3 ? inch barrel 17? ounces; Frame height: small frame 3 ? inches, large frame 3 7/8 inches; Frame length: small frame 4 3/26 inches, large frame 5 inches; Overall length: small frame with 3 inch barrel 6 3/8 inches, large frame with 3 ? inch barrel 7 3/8 inches.     i have no idea of what the X on the M999 might indicate. the barrel marking on the M922 are typical for those manufactured in the 1937 to 1939 era

    I don't plan on firing either .32 cal. The IJ was a handme-down from grandpa. I appreciate the info alot. I saw you are writing a book on H&R's, I can't wait for the opportunity to buy it.
