  When I was selling Mossberg shotguns like the one in the auction, they came with both a conventional stock and a pistol grip. When you wanted a compact personal protection piece, you put on the pistol grip, other wise the convention stock could be used.
  
  If there not legal in Il with pistol grips, get a standard Mossberg stock. There's only one one bolt that holes it on, easy to change out.

  Should be, Cook county only has a handgun mag capacity b.s. I think, but most real Illinoians do not consider that to be part of Illinois anyways.

  Illinois has some of the stupidest laws in the country. You have to have a FOID just to buy a bullet! I'm relativly certain that the Mossberg listed is legal in the land of lincoln.
