Reloading 380 ACP

Someone borrowed my 380 dies and I need to load some 380. Can someone tell me if you can use 9MM dies to load 380 since the cases are the same and bullet diameter is the same. I know overll length is different sort of like a 38 and 357 mag. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

  380 brass is too short for the 9mm dies.

  Brass! So 357's are shorter that 38s?

  .380 brass is both shorter and thinner than 9mm. The 9mm brass is tapered and larger in diameter so .380 brass wont resize in the 9mm die.
  Additionally, .380 brass being shorter will not reach the crimper portion of the 9mm die.
