Smith&Wesson 5906 question & diagram

I have a S&W 5906 in the shop that will only fire double action. Has any one run into this problem? I appreciate any help like a exploded diagram of this pistol or a solution. Thank you

  S&W did make DAO 3rd gen metal framed pistols. I believe the 5946 was the model. It might be that you just did not notice the different model number. Otherwise, you can download the manual for the gun at S&W's website.

  The 5906TSW, which has a tactical rail & possibly other special features, is DAO. Could that be what you have?

  Hey all.... I finally bit the bullet and checked the 5906. Some hammer mechanic had replaced the trigger pin with a roll pin. While they had the trigger pin out the disconnector dropped down. After I replaced the trigger pin disassembled and reassembled it works... Thanks for your replies .[V]
