I am trying to purchase an amt MK 6500Bnight scope. Does anyone know if this is a good scope and what to expect from it.I am able to get it for 800.00Is this a good deal and if not, what would be. 0 -
Hey SPASM----I've not used what I'm refering to here, but have you checked out the "RED" lights that varmint callers use at night? That big hunting mail order place (starts with a C) usually has them listed. Apparently you can see them (the critters), or at least there eyes, but they can't see the red light. Check them out. yeah i had a red filter for the spotlight but it and the belt battery pack were a load....just mounted (duct tape) a night owl monocular to left side of at-22 for test...kinda awkward but shows up the cats eyes at good distance..got one of those cheapo bsa laser about the size of your thumb mounted ..works great...slide in barrel laser & crank dots together...bingo...have to build mount for NV above it & right distance from eye when pulled up to shoulder..... 0
