New Model Ruger Bearcat

I noticed that the "New Model" Bearcat specifies .22 LR only. Does a "new" Ruger Bearcat no longer shoot shorts or longs, only LR [?]

  I can see no reason why you could not, but I do not remember the last time I saw a box of .22 Long.

  The New Model Bearcats also came with a second cylinder in 22 mag,They had problems with them and most were recalled.A few still remain in the hands of collectors.
