Does the LYMAN 66 peep fit on a Remington 141 without any additional drilling?

  It takes a 66A. Mounts on the left side of the receiver at the rear next to the wooden stock. Do you see two holes or filler screws there? If not it needs to be drilled and tapped. There are probably two tapped holes on the top of the receiver again next to the wood. These are for mounting a Marbles R8 peep or Lyman clone. These are probably cheaper in the long run if you have to drill and tap for a 66A. Check Ebay. I have one on my 14 1/2 in 38-40. Eddie
