I am in need of a set of 307 win dies and reloading info. None of my reloading books have any info for this cal.

    Never owned one, but my understanding was, it's a .308 with a rim. Uses .308 dies. Obviously the standard .308 shell holder won't work though.

    Because of the tubular magazine your going to have to use flat nose bullets, unless you just use it as a two shooter. Definitely wouldn't be using .308 data to load for it! Use .300 Savage data.

    Thanks for the info. I have 3bxs of 150 gr and 3 bxs of 180 gr ammo. The gun is like new and I haven't fired it as yet. I even bought the ammo before I bought the rifle. I plan to use it on hogs and maybe mule / white tail. I have several older winchesters so I am aware if the flat / round nose bullets. I'll check out the 300 savage info. Thanks again. Dan

    Speer #11 reloading manual has 307 Win loading data. It says 308 Win dies with a 30-30 shell holder will work.

    The 307 Win has thicker case walls than the standard 308 resulting in less case capacity altho the outside case dimentions are the same with the addition of a 30-30 sized rim to make it function in the M94 action.
