Colt New Agent
As a prospective buyer for this gun for carry purposes, I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the quality and the reliability of this gun.I sure appreciate any information.

If anything like the original Agent, it will become a favorite. Light, smooth, and very reliable. 0 -

I've handled but haven't shot - I have plenty of other short framed 3" 1911s to compare it to though and it seems fine. The sighting "trough" takes a bit of getting used to but is fine up close. I'm used to using peep sights and an AMT BAck Up, it reminds my eye of a very basic peep rear/globe front - your eye should naturally center the target in the trough.
Trigger isn't all that good but can be cleaned up. Very compact and about 24 oz with the alloy frame.
I just bought an EMP, if the Colt Agent were available in CA I would have bout it instead. Price is pretty good as compared to the other Micro/Mini 45s also.0
