Permanantly attached flash hider

I have a Saiga 12 g shotgun that I would like the total length of barrel to be 18.5" including the tromix 3"flash hider.
If I cut the barrel down and permanantly attach the flash hider with solder, will that be legal?
thanks and let me know if this would be illegal.

Yes, needs to be silver soldered on or some other truly permament attachment method. However, an extra 1/4 to 1/2" (total 18.75 or 19) wouldn't be a bad idea... 0 -
The flash hider will have to be attached with high temperature silver solder.
Minimum barrel length for a shotgun is 18".0
