Does anyone know a good web-site giving any history on the Remington made Mosin-Nagants? I recently aquired one dated 1917 and would like to know something of it's history.Thanks Dave

  American Rifleman magazine did a good article on those - I think it would have been around Nov. or Dec. of last year (I can't really remember when it came out.)
  If you know someone who keeps their magazines, you should find it.

  My favorite site is www.russian-mosin-nagant.com Please be very careful, these rifles are rich in history and seem to be infectious, one won't be enough. Enjoy! Sounds like a nice item.
