I have a Henry Pieper double barrel 12 gauge shot gun. it is in good condition. it has double external hammers, and has the date 1881 on it. I was wandering what it is worth. thank you...

  It is very difficult to give you any sort of valuation, without quality photos.
  
  That said, from your description it seems your shotgun is of late 19th Century manufacture. These very old shotguns have Damaskus barrels that are unsafe with modern ammo. Because of this their only value is as decorative "wallhangers". They are valued/sold on the basis of their cosmetic condition only. My WAG, depending on cosmetics your looking at between $50 & $250, for a value.
