Dan Wesson 357
I am looking at a used Dan Wesson 357 revolver. It looks good. However the rear sight is a notch in the frame. There is no adjustment. Can I trust it to shoot to the point of aim? Also how difficult, ($) to add a scope or other optical sight? Is Dan Wesson a good revolver?

Have a chance to buy a Dan Wesson 357mag, serial#190746 would like to know the model/year of this gun. adjustable sights, 4" barrel. Also when the gun warms up from being shot the trigger stays back in the fired position, and has to be pushed forward manually to reset, any thoughts? 0 -
Early Monson MA production, would be a plus. DW has gone through at least 3 ownership changes since the 70's. Not even sure that they still make revolvers? Check the two large net gun auctions, for actual selling prices to get a ball-park value on yours. Keep in mind that times are really tough now for a lot of folks, also semi-auto pistols are a much hotter commodity on the resale market then revolvers. Price your DW accordingly, or hold on to it till things turn around. 0 -
A lot will depend on the degree of cosmetic issues and which shroud it has. Vent, Vent Heavy or Solid heavy. Pic's would help visualize the cosmetic issues.
