How well to these Rifle shoot on an average @ 50 yards
would they be Close to a 52 B or a 40X remington?
and what would be the Value about 85=90%

  the model 54 action rifles will hold their own with any rifle ever made but IMHO the model 12 was a cheaper version and one step better then a plinking grade rifle.

  I started my NRA 4 position smallbore match shooting with a Mark 10.
  That was way back in 1968. That gun while differently not as fancy
  as some of the other kids rifles, would out shoot me for the first 4
  years I used it. It did have the much better 1413 model micrometer iron sites on it. At fifty feet it would put every .22 onto the 10x dot of the military 50 ft. target. If you haven't seen one of those bulls eyes,
  the "x" ring is the size of the period on the end of this sentence....

  Bought one for my sons back in the early 80,s. A plain jane Anschutz with a williams receiver sight. Shot well, kids were tickled. The guy I sold it too still has it and would not part with it. Try different brands of 22lr in it till you find what it likes.
