What are the differances between the 9mm Taurus PT-24/7 vrs. PT-24/7 Pro? Any idea who has the 17 rnd magazines for less than $35ish, Thanks

The original 24/7 was double action only

The 24/7 pro works much like the Walther P99 AS action. It is basically a SA/DA striker fired gun. If the first pull on a cartridge fails to ignite the cartridge(SA), the gun reverts to DA and gives you a second pull at it.

The original was like a Glock or XD in that you had to rack the slide to recock the striker. The Pro does not require it.

$35ish is about the best I have found, and that is with a lot of looking on the net. One seller here on GB sometimes lists one at auction for 2 or 3 bucks less.
