WHAT IS MY M1A WORTH
I purchased my fathers M1A off of him in January of 2004. It has been accurized by Tim Nolan a Civilian National Hi-Power champion back in 1989. The rifle has a heavy Douglas barrell, trigger job, glass bedded, free floated, and the cover over the top of the rifle is wood not fiberglass. It also has the heavy stock. I called SA and they said that it was mfg. in 1977 as a standard rifle. My father was 70 when he had it built and never really shot it much. I know for a fact that he only took it to camp Perry one time and it shot excellent at 1000 yds. I have put at-least 200 rounds through it over the years. The rifle is in excellent condition with the only scratches coming from when Mr. Nolan shipped it back to my dad with the extra barrell (my dad was very dissappointed) but it still looks excelent. I have only shot it three (3) times over the last 5 years and was considering selling it. Would anyone know what it is worth. Thanks Norm

Keep it! You may need it sooner than you think. Otherwise, they are all going well over a 1000 right now it seems. Check out the auction side to get some ideas. 0 -
If you don't need the money from it, I would keep it. It won't be worth any less in the future. However, if you want to sell it and get as much as possible, now is a good time for that. To get a better approx value, you should probably post a few pictures. There is a sticky on how to do it at the top of the ask the experts page. I bet you could get $2500 or more out of it right now.

well, I see a stock, that's been refinished but not much else.
the post count is up to 6 out of 10, so when you post more info about the gun do it by editing you previous posts. that way you'll get for answers w/o reaching the 10 post limit here.
