full auto shooting
does anyone know of a place that hostes and rents full auto's that i guy could go to shoot?

The big twice a year machine gun shoot in KY has every type of full auto for rent will even let you rent a WWII back pack flame thrower [}:)] 0 -
The Gun Store in Las Vegas is ok if you just want to try a full auto as you have never done so or you live in a country with strict gun laws--there were lots of Brits and other Europeans there when I was. It ain't cheap--my friend spent $75 to run 50 rounds through a Thompson. There are packages where you can shoot 3 different weapons. The place feels very rushed as you are pretty much done in under 2 minutes unless you spent $400 on ammo. I think a person would be better served by going to something like the Knob Creek Machine gun shoot. 0 -
A decade or so back a buddy of mine and I went to the range in Vegas. He shot a sten and I a M16, but this was after a whole bus full of oriental toruists had been on the range for an hour. It was and probably is still a popular place..... 0 -
The Gun Store in Vegas. A fun place to visit. They used to put on a machinegun shoot when the Soldier of Fortune Match was in town, I shot it about 3 times.

If you want to take a trip to the South West, the best is in Scottsdale Arizona. That place smokes the Gun Store.
The Creek...Knobcreek in K-Y..hehehehe, is getting to be very expensive to shoot too, unless you have your own stuff. Now ammo cost to run your own stuff are getting up there too. I remember when I first started going there you could get 1000 rounds of 5.56 for $100.00, and 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 for $65.00, and they had truck loads of it. You also got to see the worlds best gunshow(IMHO). It happens twice a year...the first or second full weekend in both April, and October.

I just went to their last shoot about 3 weeks ago.
Plenty of full autos for rent. It is like a county fair. There is a booth with a menu posted listing the weapon, number of rounds, and price. Pay your money and wait in line until its your turn.
Plan to bring lots of money.
