accurate 22 bolt actions
About 10 years ago, I purchased a slightly used Anschutz 1415/1416 sporter in 22 LR. Since then, I have probably shot 50,000 rounds through it, mostly at Townsend ground squirrels. These rifles are around $600 to $800 or so. It is reliable, top quality, very accurate, with a very crisp trigger. It has never broken or malfunctioned in any way, except that one of my magazines does not line up perfectly with the bore, but this is a minor aggravation.
It is very light, and sometimes a bit more weight would actually be welcome.
I also have a CZ 452 in 17 HMR. It weighs a bit more than the Anschutz(probably about 10 or 12 ounces more), and has a bit more balance and weight toward the muzzle, which can be beneficial when shooting, especially offhand. I did spend some money having my gunsmith slick the trigger up, which was necessary, as the stock trigger off the shelf was a bit rough with some creep. The trigger on the Anschutz is superior, and is probably one of the biggest differences between the two rifles. In my opinion, the accuracy between the two is quite comparable. The actions on both rifles are superb.

I have a savage heavy barreled rifle that will put 5 remington subsonics into less then a half inch at 50 yards.. Very good rifle for the money..
I have also had some very accurate 10/22 and 10/22mag rifles.0
