Early 1911 Commercial C7494

I'm a Newbie...Hello to all!!

I'm trying to figure out the value of a Colt that I received from my father's estate. I know it's an early 1911 Commercial with a LOW serial number. C7494 The gun is in Excellent condition....EXCEPT...the slid, appears to have been re-blued. Any idea what it's worth?

  Quality photos of the Colt, would be required for a accurate appraisal. If the slide has been reblued, this will reduce the value of the Colt substantially. Depending on the quality of the refinish, and if the slide was polished prior to the refinish.

  Hello early 4 digit civilian issue colt 1911 pistols are prized items to Colt collectors [:)] BUT IMHO only in original condition a mint in the box model might bring $10.000 or more while a reblue will be less then $1000.00 if it is buffed beyond restoration.[:(!][:(][xx(] I agree that in focus close-up pictures are a must for an item like yours.
