Winchester 94 value

Iam looking for someone who could give me an idea of what my winchester 94, 32ws saddle ring made in 1928 is worth.If anyone knows of someone who does appraisals in south jersey, I would appricate it.I want to sell it to by my ar15[:D]. I have never shot it and I don't really appricate it as much as someone else will. It is in excellent condition but is just sitting in my safe collecting dust[V]

    I know a picture would be ideal but my camera is down. Here's what I have. It's a model 94 with a gold saddle ring, gold loading port gate, engaved case hardened colored reciever. 20" barrel. Serial number 30875xx. It has a few rust spots here and there and some scratches on the wood. I'm just looking for a ball park value. Thanks

    Oakie, Winters Gun Shop, Rt. 30 Berlin. On the right just past the jug handle you would take for the Berlin Farmers Market. If you've never been there you will enjoy looking at his inventory. Ask him to show you his 4 ga. double.

    can't see much in the picks, but if its original and in excellent condition it's probably $1600 and up.
    so hard to predict in this market, but last year they were around 1300 for very good to excellent condition.
    remember "excellent" condition implies there is quite a bit of bluing left on it.

    went to winter gun shop and he said bettween 1200 and 1500[:D]. I had another guy give me an apraisal and he said 400[B)]. I just laughed and walked out his door. He chased me out to the paking lot and offered me 450 cash if I would do the deal right now[;)]. LOL. I want to sell but need a good starting price. Any suggestions would be appricated. Oak. Ps

    post some close up good pictures of serial #, wood to metal fit, both sides of receiver, proof marks, butt stock, forearm, start it at no reserve in the lever action category and you will get what it's worth here on gun broker but you couldn't trade me three AR'S for my 1926' SRC

    What is the serial number on your SRC? I would like to add this gun to my survey data base.

    Based on what I can see of it in the picture links, it should be close to the $1200 mark. That said, I would list it with a starting bid of $900 (no reserve) and allow the potential buyers to determine what it is ultimately worth. Based on what I have seen recently, the market has softened a bit for the more common Winchester Models.

    Bert, The serial # is 1019115. The metal is probably 95% and the wood is close to 90%. There is NO pitting in the barrel. My son has no intrest in this gun and I just dont appriciate it like I should. I collect the model 88's[:D]. I also have a winchester from 1871 that is at my dads place but that has to stay in the family. I was origanaly purched buy a family member and my dad wants it to remain in the family so I will be passing that to my neice.She is a gun nut and loves that peice so I promised it to her.If you click on spiders links, He blew up the pictures for me. I still dont understand how to do that[:(!]. I just wanted to offer you, BERT, The first chance since you seem to appriciate the winchesters more than anyone and I know it would go to a good home[;)]. Oak
