Antique arms to UK
Can an antique rifle as defined by the ATF be shipped to Great Britain? U.S. Postal web page says "Prohibitions (130)
Arms and parts of arms, except as noted under Observation #5 below.
#5 Firearms that are intended for sporting purposes are mailable to Great Britain, provided the prospective addressee has obtained the required import license.
I'm wondering how foreign countries classify our antiques?

Antique is not the question. It just has to be pre-1937. The important thing is caliber. It must be a caliber defined in the UK as "obsolete". 0 -
