Need help finding good Garand expert

I've been having countless problems with my M1 not cycling rounds. After no luck with the local rifle "experts" or the suggestions I recived from these forums, I decided it's better to ship it to someone rather than leave it in the safe. Any recomendation? Just Googleing I found Orion 7 http://www.m1garandrifle.com/Shopservices.htm
but thought i'd better ask you first. Thanks

    Pick up the Book "The M1 Garrand: Owners Guide" by Scott A. Duff.

    Page 77 #2" PROBLEM: Short Cycle: the failure to fully extract the spent case, bolt closing on a spent case, or bolt closing on an empty chamber."

    Was hoping some more folks would help you out.

    Then a whole list of cause are listed for you to check. He also does a disassembly giving the correct nomenclature of all parts. which will be real helpfull in finding ther parts needed to fix it.

    If you give more info on your problem, where the round ends up, is the bolt not closing all the way, it could be a timing problem and changing one part could correct it and save you some money, post more info.

    Tony Pucci is the owner and is also the Chairman of the Board of the Garand Collector's Association. If he can't handle your problem, nobody can.

    There is a fellow on the auction side whom I have spoken with about Garands, and I think he is very sharp.

    Go to the auction side, and search for "Mini-G", and you'll have him.

    He is going to build 3 short Garands for me to bequeath to my Sons.

    Another option is "The Garand Guy". Google will find him. Very nice.

    +1 on The Garand Guy. Tony is great to deal with and does good work. I got my M1 from him and have had him do some work for me also.
