Ruger collectors question

I don't collect Rugers, but I have a 22 revolver that I was given after my father-in-law passed away. It is in excellent condition, but has the paperwork in the box where it was returned to Ruger to have the safety bar conversion done to it. I have the gun along with the originally replaced parts that were returned by Ruger. The gun has not been fired since the conversion.

Now for the question. Is the gun more valuable in on version or the other? Is it worth more if I change it back to it's original condition?

  As long as you have the old parts, it's safer to shoot in the converted state. Value won't be affected.

  You really have the best of both worlds Danny, as it sits any future collector has the option of safety or returning it to the original condition. Keep it safe and just be sure to keep the box, paper and parts. You know the collector drill right?
