Ithaca featherweight shotguns

Hello,

I'm considering a Ithaca FW deerslayer, what is the difference between those and the standard?

  It has rifle type sights, a short barrel, and the bore is slightly smaller than standard with no choke constriction. The slug fits better in the bore so you get more consistancy in your shots. Unless you go to a fully rifled barrel, you won't find a more accurate slug gun, especially with Foster type slugs.
