What is your opinion? I think this is a very nice Spencer carbine.

I think I may have to re-do the pictures. They turned out a little dark.

  I dont think i have ever seen one in better condition, outside of books. Thats what I think. If you could post better quality pics, it would do you the most good.
  
  In the Written discription: all of the engravieng and where it is at will help collectors make sure it is all original.

  You need more light. Having several lights helps stop any shadows. Can be as simple as floor/ table lamps leave the shade on to block glare on the cammera lens. Light colored cloth helps brighten thing up too. Appears to be a very/excellent gun and good luck selling it.

  I like to shoot outside in natural light. It was a little late in the day is all.

  I usually pass on hidden reserve auctions but it's a nice carbine so I bumped it up. By the way, it's a .54 caliber.

  I didn't have time to put a lot of effort into this but I thought I would try to see if the photos you have could be helped a little.
  
  
  
  
  
  I think you hit on a way to improve these photos; shoot at an earlier time of the day. Without more light and little more contrast, you get this sort of flat, blue, grainy looking photos. It's a function of a lack of light.
