i just bought a 770 in 308 it shoots less than 1 inch at 100 yards but there isnt alot of info or aftermarkey parts did i make a bad purchase

Well the 770 is a new no-frills Remington. You basically have what you got, and when it wears out, scrap it and get another. That is just the way they were designed. 0 -

Not likely if it's shooting less than an inch at 100 yards consistently.
The M770 is the low end of the Remington bolt action rifle lines. It was designed for ease of manufacturing and low cost. Because of the techniques used to make the parts and assemble the rifle, there are virtually no aftermarket accessories other than maybe scope bases and rings. The barrel is pressed in, not threaded and other parts are plastic. The stock is one-piece, including the trigger guard. The only thing you might be able to buy is another magazine. If it breaks while under Remington's time frame, they will stand by their responsibility. But once it falls outside of the time period, you're on your own since there is little if anything that can be repaired or replaced.
If your interest is in a grab-n-go rifle that will be used once or twice a year for hunting then you're going to do just fine.
