Looking to buy a 45 revolver and possibly a Ruger. Any pro's or con's I should know about?

  What's the difference between OLD Vaquero and NEW Vaquero??

  The old model is made on the Blackhawk sized frame, where as the new model is smaller like the Colt SAA frame. The old model will withstand hotter ammo, that the Ruger's are known for. The 45 LC in a Blackhawk, can be loaded to near or as good as the 44 Magnum specs. Where as the new model will only handle the loads that the Colt SAA will.

  new model serial number has a 510 prefix.
